About the Pastor
I thank God the Father for Jesus Christ! He is Lord and Savior of my life. I follow Him because I love
and admire Him. I love the Holy Spirit Who came into my life and gives me direction and motivation. I
can't imagine life without God. He has brought joy, hope, and peace since I first knew Him.
I was saved at the age of seven after viewing a movie about Jesus in Okmulgee Oklahoma. It was
around Easter. When I went to bed that night I felt compelled to ask the Lord into my heart. It was like He
was right beside me when I asked Him to forgive me of my sins. Suddenly, I felt a supernatural cleansing
come over me. I have never felt anything like that since.
My Grandparents were a great example. They are both gone now, but their influence lives on
through all the lives that they touched; to include myself. My Grandpa served as Pastor in Porum
Oklahoma for twenty years. I admired his lifestyle and have always wanted that for myself. Grandpa was
dedicated to his church and community. My Grandma was great. She was always praying and serving.
When you stepped into her house, it felt like "home." Grandpa baptized me in the river while the
congregation was singing on the bank.
After New Years Eve in 1983 I rededicated my life to the Lord and have not looked back since. In
1984 I accepted the invitation to become Youth Pastor at "Glad Tidings" in Blytheville Arkansas.  Later I
met a gospel group called "The Assurance." They were looking for a singer and I accepted.
God was working great in these weekend services. We sang southern gospel music and I preached
afterward. The few dollars we received from these services were used for expenses, so I continued to
lay carpet during the week and minister on the weekends. It was then that I met my wife, Bonita, in a
small church in Knobel, Arkansas. We began seeing each other and fell in love and were married on
February 25th, 1985.
I joined the Army in March of 1985 and served at Fort Benning, GA.; Schofield Barracks, HI; Fort Riley,
Kansas (Served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm); Dyersburg, Tennessee (Recruiter); Camp Jackson,
Korea; Fort Drum, NY, and again at Fort Benning, GA (Operation Iraqi Freedom). Stephen was born in
Georgia; Melonie and Justin in Hawaii. I retired from the Army in 2006 after serving 21 years.
From 1997 - 2002, I was Pastor of a small fellowship of believers in Gouverneur, NY. We scheduled
the services around a friends milking schedule. He is a dairy farmer that preached every other week.
Bonita and I led praise and worship. Rob, Angie, and his children are very close friends of ours and we
stay in touch.
God led us to Parkside Bible Church (C&MA) in Watertown, NY in 2003. Pastor Bruce Guckelburg
recognized the call of God on my life and referred me to the Ministerial Studies Program, which I
completed while deployed in Iraq. I have also earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management in
2004 and a Masters in Ministry Leadership at Crown College in 2008.
After being accepted as a licensed worker in The Christian and Missionary Alliance, I began serving
as Pastor of Alliance Bible Church in North Little Rock Arkansas on April 17, 2006. I look forward to the
future of Alliance Bible Church and am drawn to the warm and friendly people who serve here. They
love the Lord and like to have fun as well. I look forward to many more years as we seek and develop
disciples for Christ!
